☛ SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA:
The ancient Sanskrit word ‘Buddha’ means ‘having become awoken ‘ in the sense of having attained ‘supreme awareness’. It is closely related to the term ‘Bodhi’ which refers to awareness. The serene & sublime image of Gautama embodies a condition of compassionate understanding, of an awoken illuminated mind. This is a stark contrast to many Western ideas of outward pride, muscular vigor & displays of material wealth. Gautama Shakyamuni was born c.563 BCE in Lumbini which is today in Nepal. He concentrated on the cardinal Rule of Desire & its relationship to hate. This Principle pre-existed his lifetime & is a theme common to Hinduism, Jainism & similar faiths. Desire is taken in the sense of greed, selfishness, possessiveness which combine to obscure higher awareness & understanding, especially in context with the world around us. He was certain that the suffering of sick people, hungry people, old people & poor desperate people was caused by & had arisen through a misunderstanding & that misplaced-desire & had generated this suffering.
☛ RATNASAMBHAVA BUDDHA:
He is one of five Tathagatas symbolizing the wisdom of equality (skt. Samatajnana). According to the commentary of Namasangiti, the author Ravisri says:”All the phenomena are devoid of essence, lacks true inherent existence and hence is dreamlike or illusion or is empty”.
Thus the knowledge of senselessness of persons and the phenomena is the wisdom of equality: Buddha Ratnasambhava is the personification of this wisdom in Vajrayana Buddhism.
In the extant literature, he has rarely described his vows, aspirations, and activity. He is usually called the Buddha born from a jewel.
If you wear this Buddha on your body your desire would be fulfilled.
☛ VAIROCANA BUDDHA:
He is one of the five Tathagatas symbolizing all-pervasive wisdom(skt. suvi suddha dharma dhatu jnana) i.e. knowledge free from all kinds of obscuration. He is placed generally in the sanctum of the stupa. sometimes he is placed between Akshobhya and Ratna Sambhava in the stupa. He resides always in the Akanistha heaven.
He is white in color and his hands are held against his chest with the tips of thumb and forefinger of each hand joined displaying Bodhyanga mudra. His vehicle is a pair of lions symbolizing the lions roar of dharmadhatu jnana which terrifies all wrong views. He can be recognized through white disc or dharma chakra which cuts all wrong views.
