☛ ASHTAMANGALA:
The Ashtamangala is a sacred suite of Eight Auspicious Signs endemic to a number of religions such as Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. The symbols or “symbolic attributes” are yidam and teaching tools. Not only do these attributes point to qualities of enlightened mindstream, but they are the investiture that ornaments these enlightened “qualities”. Many cultural enumerations and variations of the Ashtamangala are extant.

☛ BUDDHIST SYMBOLS:
• ENDLESS KNOT:
The endless knot or eternal knot (Sanskrit: śrīvatsa) is a symbolic knot and one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols. It is in important symbol in both Jainism and Buddhism. It is an important cultural marker in places significantly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism such as Tibet, Mongolia, Tuva, Kalmykia, and Buryatia. It is also sometimes found in Chinese art and used in Chinese knots. In Jainism it is one of the eight auspicious items, an asthamangala, however found only in the Svetambara sect. It is often found marking the chests of the 24 Saints, the tirthankaras. It is more commonly referred to as the Shrivatsa.
• VAJRA DORJE:
The thunderbolt or diamond that destroys all kinds of ignorance, and itself is indestructible. The Vajra is symbol of Indra also. In tantric rituals, the Vajra symbolized the male principle which represents method in the right hand and the Bell symbolized the female principle, is held in the left. Their interaction leads to enlightenment. Also the Dorje or Vajra represents the “Upya” or method Tibetans name Vajra as “Dorje”.
• CONCH SHELL:
The conch shell, this has been used as the original from the past ancient times, in ancient history of Nepal and India these horns are used to commence any rituals or worn. Popularly known as Shanka, it is a musical instrument blown by the lord Krishna to declare the start of the war of Mahabharata. in all the epic stories of Hinduism shankha has been described as being carried by all the heroes of the past.

☛ ABOUT THANGKA COLOR FINISHING
This Wooden Tibetan Box is painted using traditional thangka colors. Coloring the box in this style is a tradition process of making Wooden Tibetan Box exact to the traditional color description.
For making the statue in this finishing we use organic colors, real gold and a professional thangka artist Mainly Mrs, Rita Shakya. She is a professional face painter for our collection.
