Description

☛ OFFERING BOWLS: WHAT IS IT?
The most common type of offering on Tibetan Buddhist shrines are made with seven water offering bowls — called “yonchap” in Tibetan.
The main point of any offerings is a pure motivation to cultivate generosity and to reduce our selfishness, stinginess, and greed.
We seek to give with an open, pure heart, with no attachment to what we are giving, and with no motivation of receiving something in return.

☛ DIFFERENT USES:
These offering bowls are commonly used as home decorations as well. It’s possible to use them as candles holder and tringle incense burner to make your home charmer, welcomed , elegant and cozy.

☛ FINISHING: CHOCOLATE OXIDIZED
This statue of Offering Bowls has been given a chocolate color antique patina. This oxidation is an imitation of a copper statue aged more than 100 years. This color has not been painted on the statue so the patina will not wear off easily, This patina comes to the statue by artificial oxidation process which will also protect the statue from natural oxidation.

☛ FINISHING: PARTLY GOLD PLATED
This is partly fire Gold Gilded Offering Bowls & Bhumpas of Offering Bowls. The gold is gilded by the ancient process of gold gilding using amalgam Gold. This process of Gold gilding is known as Mercury Gold Gilding (पारा Pārā सुन Suna जलप Jalap), Fire Gilding, or Fire gold plating(In Nepal). Gold gilded by this process is very good for the copper statues, as the statue gilded by this process will retain the gold for a very long time. Gold Gilded by this process is comparatively expensive to the modern electrochemical plating but due to its durability, it is still a preferred choice for many collectors and practitioners alike.
